Archdeacon Recognition Service
The service of Recognition of the Venerable Junior Ebenezer Ballantyne as Archdeacon of St. Vincent and the Grenadines is scheduled for 5:00 pm on Wednesday 14th September, 2022 being Holy Cross Day at the Holy Trinity Parish Church, Georgetown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Community of St. Anselm
The Rev’d Khadisha Smart has been accepted into the Community of St. Anselm for a one-year experience of monastic life for people aged 20-35 which begins on 23’d September, 2022.
The Community of St Anselm was founded in 2015, by the Archbishop of Canterbury — The Most Rev Justin Welby. Over 100 young people from different Christian denominations have since been part of the community from many countries around the world. As Archbishop Justyn Welby has said:
“I started the Community of St. Anselm to give young people a profound experience of prayer, service and living in community. It has been a transformative experience for those who’ve taken part – and for those of us praying, living and working alongside the community.”
The Community of St. Anselm is located in Lambeth Place, London, United Kingdom.
Diocesan Synod 2022
The 38’h Triennial Synod of the Diocese of the Windward Islands is scheduled for 9!h to 13’h October, 2022 with the opening service at the Holy Trinity Parish Church at 5:00pm on Sunday 9th and the Business Sessions at the Department of Finance, Finance Administrative Gentre, Gonference Room, Point Seraphine, Castries, St. Lucia.

Provincial Synod 2022
The 41st Triennial Synod of the Church in the Province of the West Indies is scheduled for 12’h to 17th November, 2022. It will be a Hybrid Synod hosted by the Diocese of the Windward Islands with the opening service at the St. George’s Cathedral, Kingstown at 4:00pm on Sunday 13th November, 2022 and the Business Sessions, for those who will be assembling in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, at the Anglican Pastoral Centre, New Montrose, Kingstown.
