Greetings!
75th Anniversary
The St. Matthew, Parish Church, Biabou will be celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the dedication of that House of Prayer. The Church was dedicated on the 11th April, 1948.
You are invited to join the members of St. Matthew at 3:00pm on Sunday 16th April, 2023 for Solemn Evensong and Benediction as part of the celebrations to mark the 75th Anniversary of the Dedication.
We give thanks to God for all who have served there in the past, and those who are serving presently; Bishops, Priest, Deacons, Lay Ministers, Wardens and Members of the Parochial Church Council, Servers, Sunday School teachers, members of the various organisations and general membership.
We congratulate the Very Rev’d O Samuel Nichols, The Rev’d Mrs. Rosemarie Alleyne, the Rev’d Mr. Inglis Ogarro, Lay Ministers Wardens and PCC members, Servers, organisations and general membership on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the dedication of St. Matthew, Parish Church. Obituary
We have learnt of the passing of the Rt. Rev’d Rawle Douglin, retired Bishop of the Diocese of Trinidad and Tobago who died on Maundy Thursday morning.6th April, 2023. Left to mourn are his widow Janis, his brothers and other relatives and friends. May they experience the comfort of God’s Holy Presence and know the consolation of God’s love. Amen.
Rest eternal grant unto Rawle O Lord and Let light perpetual shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
I am asking each parish to kindly offer a requiem mass for him.
