Greetings!

Updated Guidelines for Resuming services

The COVID-!9 Pandemic is still with us even though in the Diocese and in the region the authorities have been able to contain its spread. As the various nations in our region and beyond work towards reopening their borders and the time when airlines begin to operate again, thus allowing people to travel from place to place draws closer. Let us pray God’s guidance on those who have the responsibility to put measures and protocols in place, that their decisions may result in the safety and wellbeing of all people. Nevertheless, let us continue to follow best hygiene practices and to observe the protocols.

Please see the attached.

Archdeaconry Family Day

The Annual Archdeaconry family Day in the Archdeaconry of Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines were scheduled for Thursday 11th June, 2020 and Sunday 21st June, 2020 respectively The Archdeaconry Family Day in St. Lucia is scheduled for Sunday 20th September, 2020. Due to the present circumstances we are not able to have the joint archdeaconry service. Since the third Sunday in June is commonly observed as Fathers’ Day, Sunday 21st June, 2020, I am asking that you kindly use the Collect and Propers for the Family on that Sunday in each Church. The Collect and proper can be found on the back of the Diocesan Almanac.

The Archdeaconry of St. Lucia may choose to wait until September or join with the other archdeaconries at this time.

With every good wish and God’s blessings!

Yours sincerely

The Rt. Rev’d C. Leopold Friday
Bishop of the Windward Islands
