St. Lucia’s 43rd Anniversary of Independence- 22nd February, 2022

We join with the people of St. Lucia in giving thanks to God as they celebrate their 43rd Anniversary of Independence.

We pray Gods continued guidance on His Excellency Mr. Cyril Errol Melchiades Charles- Acting Governor General of Saint Lucia, The Honourable Philip Joseph Pierre- Prime Minister, The Honourable Allen Michael Chastanet- Leader of the Opposition, Members of Parliament and the people of St. Lucia.

Collect- Independence:

O God our Father, whose will it is that your people should live in ordered societies; inspire the people of St. Lucia with the spirit of justice, truth and love; and so guide their leaders, and all who make decisions on their behalf, that they may direct their affairs in righteousness and peace; that they may live in peace and harmony and to your honour and glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God now and forever. Amen.

Diocesan Clergy Retreat 2022

The annual pre- Lenten Diocesan Clergy Retreat is scheduled for Tuesday 22″d to Thursday 24th February, 2022. The retreat will be virtual (online). The Retreat conductor is The Very Rev’d Dr. Knolly Clarke- Dean Emeritius, Diocese of Trinidad and Tobago and the theme: Called to Serve God’s People and His whole Creation.

Ash-Wednesday -Lent

Ash-Wednesday is the first day of Lent, this year it is the 2nd March. I implore you to observe a Holy Lent.
