Quiet Day SVG

The Guild of Vocations in the Archdeaconry of St. Vincent and the Grenadines invites those who would like to consider the ordained ministry, or who believe they are being called to the Priesthood, or who would like to explore their vocation to a Quiet Day on Saturday 8th April, 2017 at the St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Buccament from 9:30am to 2:00pm (lunch will be served). All incumbents are asked to kindly call the Diocesan Office: 4561895 by Wednesday 5th April, 2017, to confirm how many persons from your Parish will be attending.

Renewal of vows and the Blessing of Oils

I most cordially invite all members of the Clergy to share with me in a solemn Mass and Consecration of the Holy Oils on Wednesday in Holy Week 12th April, 2017 at the Church of the Ascension, Sion Hill beginning at 5:00pm.

I look forward very much to the collegiality, and renewal of our Ordination Vows. The Colour is white Stole.

Please bring along containers, so that you may collect the Holy Oils for use in your Parishes. An invitation is also extended to all those who have been licensed or commissioned to renew their vows at this service. Kindly encourage members of your various congregations to attend.

I am kindly reminding all incumbents to invite those in your respective parishes who have been licensed and/or commissioned to the service on Wednesday in Holy Week, 5:00pm at the Church of the Ascension, Sion Hill to reaffirm their promise to serve God faithfully in the ministry to which they have been licensed and commissioned.
