Greetings!
Bishop’s Christmas. Message
My Christmas message is attached I am kindly asking you to have it read in each church in your respective parishes during worship on Christmas Day.
Congratulations
Archdeacon J Everton Weekes has informed me of the success of one of his parishioners at the St. Mary’s Parish Church, Port Elizabeth, Bequia, Ms. La-Quinta Peniston, who is a server, was awarded A BSc. in Environmental and Natural Resource Management (Major) Entrepreneurship (Minor) with First Class Honors from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus,Trinidad and Tobago. The virtual graduation ceremony is scheduled for 11th January, 2021.
We congratulate La Quinta on her achievement and wish her every success in all her endeavours in the future.
Prayers
I have been informed that The Fr. Frank Garraway of Canouan, parish of St. Mary, Bequia with Holy Cross, Paget Farm, Mustique, St. Michael and All Angels, Canouan and St. Matthias, Union Island Archdeaconry of St. Vincent and the Grenadines is not well. I ask you to kindly pray for him, his wife Sylvia and family.
Annual Pre-Lenten Clergy Retreat
The Annual Pre- Lenten Clergy Retreat is scheduled for 9:00am on Tuesday 9th to 1:00pm on Thursday 11th February, 2021. The retreat will be virtual and will be conducted by the Rev’d Dr. Canon Kortright Davis Professor of Theology at Howard University School of Divinity and the Rector Emeritus of The Holy Comforter Episcopal Church, Washington, DC.USA.
