Consecration and Ordination
I hope to be out of the Diocese from today for the Consecration and Ordination of the Rev’d Canon Garth Minott, as Bishop in the Holy Catholic Church and Suffragan Bishop of the See of Kingston, Diocese of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. The Consecration and Ordination is scheduled for Saturday 11th June, 2022 being the feast of St. Barnabas, the Apostle, at the Paris Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, Kingston Jamaica. Your prayers are kindly requested.
During my absence the Venerable Christian Glasgow will have oversight of the Diocese.
Archdeaconry Family Day 2022
Archdeaconry Family Day in the Archdeaconries of Grenada and St. Vincent and The Grenadines are scheduled for Thursday 16th June, 2022 the feast of Corpus Christi and the Second Sunday after Pentecost 19th June, 2022 respectively. The Date for the Archdeaconry Family Day in St. Lucia will be announced at a later date. You are being asked the wear face mask, sanitize, and observe physical distancing as much as possible. If you have a high temperature, fever or feel unwell please stay at home.
Please follow the guidance of the Family Day Committee in your respective Archdeaconries.
Ordination
God willing the Rt. Rev’d C. Leopold Friday, Bishop of the Windward Islands will ordain The Rev’d Ms. Keba Cuffy and The Rev’d Ms. Khadisha Smart to the Holy Order of Priest at 5:00pm on Wednesday 6th July, 2022 being the feast of Thomas More, at the Cathedral Church of St. George, Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Your prayers and presence are kindly requested.
