I ask your prayers for Mrs. Ann Calliste of St. Andrew,Grenada, Mother of The Rev’d Ms. Yvette Calliste who is ill and in hospital and for Yvette and other relatives.

Obituary

We have learnt of the passing of Ms. Sharon Bartholomew of Paraclete,St. Andrew, Grenada sister of the Rev’d Mrs. Myrtle Gordon who died on Sunday night 29th October, 2016. We extend our sympathy to her parents Mr. & Mrs. Dennis Lewis, Myrtle, other relatives, and friends.  The Funeral service is scheduled for 1:30pm on Tuesday 8th November, 2016 at the St. Andrew’s Parish Church, Grenville St. Andrew, Grenada.

Mr. Elton Anderson of Cane Garden, Kingstown St. Vincent and the Grenadines, who died on Sunday morning 29th October, 2016 was a lay Reader, Chalice Bearer, a former member of the Parochial Church Council of the George’s Cathedral. He was also the Treasurer of the Board of Governors of Bishop College, Kingstown and one time Financial Auditor for the Parish of St. Matthew, Biabou, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Mr. Anderson was a devoted Christian who took his rightful place in the ministry and governance of the Church. We extend our sympaty to his widow Mrs. Pamela Anderson, children Karen & Mark other relatives and friends. The Funeral service is scheduled for 2pm on Saturday 6th November, 2016 at the Roman Catholic Cathedral of the Assumption, Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Sir Nicholas Brathwaite, Former Prime Minister of Grenada who died on 28th October, Sir Nicholas was the first Prime Minister of Grenada after the demise of the People’s Revolutionary Government in 1983. A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00am Friday 5th November, 2016 at the Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, Grande Anse, according to Anglican rites. We extend our sympathy to his children Earl, Ben, Sammy and Charmian other relatives and friends and to the Government and people of Grenada. The Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday 7th November, 2016 at Christ The King Anglican Church, Carriacou and burial will be at sea on Tuesday 9th November,2016.
